The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is soliciting public comments and feedback from potential applicants of a new pilot program seeking innovative proposals for increasing the energy efficiency of multifamily housing developments. The overall objective of the Energy Innovation Fund is to help catalyze a home energy retrofit market by accelerating private investment in cost-saving energy efficiency retrofits. Comments are due no later than December 1, 2012.
