The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will accept comments on the Draft 2020 State of Texas Low Income Housing Plan and Annual Report (SLIHP) through 5:00 pm CT on January 15, 2020. The SLIHP offers a comprehensive reference for statewide housing needs, housing resources and strategies for funding allocations. It reviews TDHCA’s housing programs, current and future policies and resource allocation plans to meet state housing needs. It also reports on the Department’s performance during the preceding state fiscal year (September 1, 2018, through August 31, 2019).
TDHCA will hold a public hearing at 2:00 pm CT on December 19 at the Stephen F. Austin State Office Building, Room 172, 1700 N. Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701. Anyone may submit comments on the SLIHP in written form or oral testimony at the public hearing.
