The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) released the final 2020 and 2021 QAP as approved by the Governor.
Preliminary Project Assessments (PPA) and LIHTC applications must be submitted via the Multifamily Portal. In order to gain access to the Multifamily Portal, please submit a MF Portal Account Request Form. If you require assistance with the Multifamily Portal, please contact [email protected].
On November 1, 2019, IHDA will begin accepting four percent PPA’s on a rolling basis. IHDA will endeavor to notify Sponsors within 45 days of the Authority’s receipt of the request for four percent PPA approval. Any four percent applications with approved PPA’s may be submitted on a quarterly basis, beginning in 2020.
In order to be eligible to apply for 2020 nine percent credits, a sponsor must have submitted a request for PPA approval by or before December 4, 2019. IHDA will notify sponsors of the PPA results no later than January 30, 2020. The application deadline for 2020 nine percent credits is March 23, 2020. Applications received after March 23, 2020 will not be eligible for 2020 nine percent credits.
