The full House Financial Services Committee (HFSC) will hold two upcoming housing related hearings, both of which will be held at 10 am EDT, take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building and be webcast here.

The April 30 hearing will focus on “Housing in America: Assessing the Infrastructure Needs of America’s Housing Stock” and feature testimony from the following witnesses:

  • Diane Yentel, President and CEO of the National Low Income Housing Coalition
  • Adrianne Todman, CEO of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials
  • Steven Lawson, Chairman of The Lawson Companies and representative from the National Association of Home Builders
  • Daryl Carter, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Avantha Capital, on behalf of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the National Apartment Association

The May 21 hearing will focus on “Housing in America: Oversight of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.” Check the link closer to the date of the hearings for a full witness list. The Committee is required to publish the witnesses 3 days prior the hearings, excluding weekends and holidays.
