The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”) has posted to its website the Amended 2018-1 Multifamily Direct Loan Notice of Funding Availability (2018-1 NOFA) and an updated Application Log for applications received under the 2018-1 NOFA. As a result of the Third Amendment to the 2018-1 NOFA, Multifamily Direct Loan funding under the 2018-1 NOFA has increased to $62,304,276, which is available to for-profit and nonprofit organizations to develop affordable multifamily rental housing throughout the State.
Applications will continue to be accepted until 5:00pm Austin local time on November 30, 2018.

TDHCA has also posted a draft version of the 2019-1 Multifamily Direct Loan NOFA (2019-1 NOFA) to the TDHCA online forum here: https://tdhca.websitetoolbox.com/?forum=700725 TDHCA encourages stakeholders to provide feedback in the forum or by contacting staff directly. Staff will present the 2019-1 NOFA for adoption by the Board at the Board meeting on December 6, 2018.
