Last week, the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) released the final version of its 2019-2020 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) along with the 2019 Housing Credit Round scoring workbook, and opened the Universal Funding Application for 2019 Housing Credit and Non-credit funding rounds. The most recent QAP and Multifamily Guidelines are available online.

This year’s QAP has been heavily streamlined and includes 15% less guidelines than in previous years. The most significant change is the removal of the Community Impact & Historic Adaptive Re-use category within the scoring criteria.

The Development Team Capacity application is due on Friday July 20, 2018. The Competitive Housing Credit application is due by 12 noon ET on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Non-competitive non-credit applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will close when all funds have been allocated or on January 10, 2019. Applications are now available.

The 9% application has available funds of $1 million through the HOME Program and $1.5 million through the Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF). Non-credit funding will include another $1 million from HOME, another $1 million from AHTF, and $1 million from the Small Multifamily Affordable Loan Program (SMAL).
