The Obama Administration’s FY 2011 Budget Proposal would slash funding for several key programs providing financial assistance for historic preservation efforts. Most notably, the proposed FY 2011 budget would:

  • Eliminate funding for the Save America’s Treasures Program
  • Eliminate funding for the Preserve America Grant Program
  • Reduce funding for the National Heritage Areas
