Timelines for Closing RAD Public Housing Conversion in 2018
Each year, the Office of Recapitalization has established timelines for closing RAD public housing conversions in the fourth quarter of the calendar year when the RAD closing volume is very heavy. This memorandum, which is available on the RAD Resource Desk, specifies the timelines for calendar year 2018. HUD strongly encourages PHAs and their development partners to close as early in the calendar year as possible. HUD provides these timelines and establishes deadlines to make its workload management as transparent and predictable as possible.
New Materials on the Conversion of Moderate Rehabilitation Contracts
Several new resources on the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) for Moderate Rehabilitation (Mod Rehab) owners are now available.

- Sign up for Mod Rehab Talk, a 30-minute session to speak one-on-one with HUD staff about your properties, RAD conversion, preservation strategies, and the RAD application process.
