The Multifamily Finance Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”) will hold the first planning meeting for the 2019 Qualified Allocation Plan (“QAP”) and Uniform Multifamily Rules on December 14, 2017. The meeting will be held after the TDHCA Governing Board Meeting concludes, at approximately 1:30 p.m., at the same location, the John H. Reagan Building, Room 140.
The agenda for this meeting will include discussing proposed topics for the 2019 QAP Roundtables, which will be held on a monthly basis. TDHCA staff will propose a list of topics and welcomes stakeholder input. Multifamily Finance staff also hope to discuss the possibility of adding new scoring criteria regarding proximity to employment areas to the 2019 QAP.
Meeting materials, including the Project Plan, will be posted to the Department’s website http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/nofas-rules.htm prior to the meeting. A handout will also be distributed at the meeting.
