The Missouri Housing Development Commission has hired a team of National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA) members to determine how to boost the value of Missouri’s state low-income housing tax credit to 65 cents, from its current value of 40 cents. MHDC is retaining Washington, DC attorney Jerome Breed, of Bryan Cave LLP, and Jeanne Peterson, a principal of Reznick Group, to devise a plan to improve the value of the credit in time for consideration by Missouri’s General Assembly in 2010.
