Kansas Housing Resources Corporation has released its draft selection criteria for funding through the Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) under the recent Recovery Act. TCAP funding is available for any development that can be completed by February 12, 2012 and has received a housing tax credit allocation by September 30, 2009. KHRC will then give priority to applications based on the following criteria:
- Property Location (50 Points max)
- Housing Needs Characteristics (45 Points max)
- Development Characteristics (80 Points max)
- Applicant/Sponsor Characteristics (10 Points max)
- Tenant Population Characteristics (75 Points max)
- Public Housing, Government Assisted and Conventionally Financed Waiting Lists (5 Points max)
- Bonus Point (45 Points max)
