The Arizona Department of Housing has published and is accepting public comments on its draft application for Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The application describes selection criteria and program deadlines. ADOH will award funding based on the following criteria guidelines:
- Projects that demonstrate a readiness to commence construction;
- Projects that warrant completion by December 31, 2011;
- Acquisition/Rehabilitation projects;
- Preservation of existing subsidized housing;
- Developer experience;
- Rent restricted units level of effort; and
- Transportation-oriented development.
