Connecticut Housing Finance Authority hosted an Overview Session last month regarding the 2016 QAP. Information from that session is now available. Of particular note is that there will be no application deficiency period this year – that is, there will be no opportunity to submit missing items after the deadline. Applications are due by 4pm ET on November 9, 2016.

Scoring changed significantly in certain areas as well:

  • 8 points added for the new category of “Development Located in an Area of Opportunity
  • 3 points added for the Sustainable Design category, resulting in 6 total points
  • Veterans Supportive Housing removed from scoring (previously 1 point)
