Oregon Housing and Community Services recently announced that the LIFT program NOFA should be released between September 2, 2016, and September 9, 2016. LIFT, or the Local Innovation and Fast Track Housing Program received a $40M commitment from the legislature in 2015. The following are some features of the LIFT program:

  • Funds can be paired with 4% LIHTC
  • Priority consideration given to projects requesting $38,000 or less LIFT subsidy per unit
  • 20 year minimum affordability period (or the length of time Article XI-Q bonds are outstanding, whichever is longer).
