City Real Estate Advisors, Inc. (CREA) appointed Rachel Thomas to vice president of acquisitions. Thomas will cover Texas and surrounding states. She has been active in affordable housing finance since 1998 and brings valuable experience to CREA’s already-seasoned acquisitions team.
Thomas will be responsible for identifying, structuring and closing affordable housing equity opportunities throughout her region. She will be based in CREA’s Austin, Tex. office and will report to Charles Anderson, executive vice president of acquisitions.

Thomas said, “The presence of safe, affordable housing is a foundational issue that is faced by an increasing amount of individuals and families in our country. I am excited to take on this role and serve our communities by making safe, affordable housing a reality.”
Thomas received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from University of Central Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.
