The next West Virginia Housing Development Fund HOMErent RFP will be issued on or about February 17, 2015.

Anticipated highlights of the HOMErent RFP:

  • The RFP will be electronically completed and submitted through Procorem, which is the Fund’s new portal. For those new to Procorem and ProLink, it is user friendly and the HOME staff is available to provide technical assistance, if required.
  • HUD has decreased HOME fund awards to each state. Therefore approximately $2,000,000 in or of HOMErent funds are available to be awarded during this RFP round.  As a result, the maximum amount of HOMErent funds a project may request is $500,000.  In addition, be reminded that the Fund has a lending limit of $4,143,050 per developer.
  • HOMErent applications are to be submitted on or before March 20, 2015.
  • HOMErent applications will be processed during the months of March, April, and early May. The results of the processing (letters of intent, waiting list letters, and non-selection letters) will be issued on approximately May 15, 2015.
