The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has posted to its website a schedule for public hearings for purposes of taking public comment on the 2015 Competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit Applications. TDHCA has also posted an updated log of Applications for the 2015 Competitive (9%) HTC Cycle. Those reviewing the log are advised to use caution in reaching any definitive conclusions based on this information alone. A more complete log will be posted subsequent to completion of staff application reviews as well as at various times during the cycle, as Department staff has not yet begun reviewing Applications. A portion of a staff draft of a previous participation review rule has been posted to the TDHCA website. Staff continues to draft sections of the rule that will be applicable for multifamily awards and ownership transfers as well as a section of the rule to address appealing adverse recommendations made by the Executive Award Review Advisory Committee (“EARAC”). Notification will be sent out when those sections are posted.
