Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority announced the 2015-16 application for the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program (NAP) is now open. The NAP program of the State of Indiana that provides $2.5 million tax credits annually to non-profit organizations for sale as a fundraising and capacity building tool. NAP credits are worth 50% of the value of a contribution and are deducted from a donor’s state tax liability. Please note that your organizations will be considered New Applicants, and your requests should not exceed $15,000.
The 2015-16 NAP Application will be open from March 13, 2015 to April 17, 2015 at 5pm/EST.
- Step 1- Go to http://www.ihcdaonline.com and either register for a new account or update your organization’s administrator rights. This will ensure that you have the right people set up to administer the program.
- Step 2- Once registered, go into IHCDAonline.com and find your Organization Code. You will need this code to complete the NAP application. info on how to find the code is located at http://www.in.gov/ihcda/2358.htm and is attached to this email.
- Step 3- Complete the NAP application at https://ihcdaonline.com/NAP_Application_JF_Embed.htm.
- A sample application has been posted for your convenience. Organizations are strongly urged to complete the application in one setting.
