OCCH Welcomes Andy Lee – New Vice President, Fund Management
Andy Lee joined OCCH as Vice President of Fund Management in August 2015. Andy is already instrumental in his work with the upper tier fund models and ensuring that OCCH meets each investor’s projected return – both multi-investor funds and proprietary funds. Andy is also involved with the structuring of unique transactions – including historic only, secondary sales and New Market Tax Credits. Prior to joining OCCH, he worked as an Investment Professional at Nationwide Insurance in the Tax Credit Equity Investment department. While at Nationwide, he was responsible for the underwriting and closing of federal low income tax credits, federal historic credits, and state tax credit investments. Andy is a proud Buckeye—holding a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Consumer Affairs from The Ohio State University and is a four-year varsity letter winner in baseball as well as an active member of The Varsity “O”.
Beth Long and Brad Carman Promoted to Senior Development Analysts
Beth Long and Brad Carman have been promoted to Senior Development Analyst positions within the Acquisitions department at OCCH. As Senior Development Analysts, they provides ongoing underwriting, programmatic and technical assistance to government, for-profit and nonprofit development partners as well as assist with the packaging and production of LIHTC applications.
Beth also specializes in working with the OCCH Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) portfolio and in underwriting and structuring new PSH developments. She serves on the Ohio Community Development Corporation Association (Ohio CDC) Board of Directors and on the Balance of State Continuum of Care (BOSCOC) Board of Directors. Beth has a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Philosophy from Miami University’s Western College Program.
Brad works with a variety of partners and specializes in public housing projects, Choice Neighborhood Grants, and RAD projects. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University.
Lori McMillan Promoted to Vice President, Fund Management
Lori McMillan was recently promoted from Development Analyst in Acquisitions to Vice President in Fund Management. Lori has been with OCCH for four years and has a strong LIHTC underwriting background. She is responsible for managing the lower tier projections used in OCCH’s multi-investor and proprietary investor housing tax credit funds and ensuring OCCH is investing in quality deals that meet OCCH standards and Investment Guidelines for each fund investing in the lower tier projects. Having worked on some of the more complicated projects in the OCCH portfolio, Lori is ready to tackle Fund Management! She is a licensed attorney in the state of Ohio and received her Juris Doctorate from Mercer School of Law in Macon Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Public Administration from Brenau University.
Ohio Capital Finance Corporation Welcomes Millie Davis and Wolfgang Teran as Vice Presidents
Millie Davis was recently promoted to Vice President of Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCCH’s CDFI lending affiliate) where she assists the Executive Director with all aspects of OCFC’s lending transactions and reporting. Millie is also a Program Specialist and works with OCCH’s limited partnership partners to dispose of tax credit projects that have reached the 15-year compliance period. Millie is also responsible for the administration of Ohio Capital Impact Corporation’s (OCCH’s philanthropic affiliate) Place Based Strategies Fund- a grant program to assist communities where OCCH investments are located. Millie received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Economics from Kent State University and her Masters of Urban Planning, Design and Development from Cleveland State University.
Wolfgang Teran recently transitioned from his role as Vice President of Fund Management to Vice President at Ohio Capital Finance Corporation. His responsibilities include providing capital to developers and operators of LIHTC projects, developing strategies and negotiating the disposition of assets at the end of the compliance period, creating models to manage the loan funds, and assisting OCFC’s President in the sourcing of capital for the loan funds. Wolfgang earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Florida International University and also holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
Lisa Patt-McDaniel Assisting Affordable Housing Trust of Columbus and Franklin County with New CDFI
Lisa Patt-McDaniel, former Director of Community Development at OCCH, is serving as an “Executive on Loan” to the Affordable Housing Trust of Columbus and Franklin County as they create a new CDFI organization at the Trust. Lisa’s career spans over 20 years at the Ohio Department of Development working in the areas of community, economic and workforce development, ending her career there as the Director of the Department and a member of the Governor’s Cabinet. She is a Certified Economic Development Professional (EDP) through the National Development Council. She sits on the board of the Franklinton Development Association, Heritage Ohio, Ohio Conference of Community Development, Greater Ohio Policy Center, and the Columbus Next Generation Development Corporation. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Miami University and a Masters of Public Administration from the John Glenn School of Public Policy at The Ohio State University.
