On Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at 10 a.m. EDT, the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs will hold a hearing on the nomination of Eric Turner to be Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  

All hearings are webcast live and will not be available until the hearing starts. Turner served in the previous Trump administration as executive director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council. Since then, he has worked for a private developer, JPI, as their Chief Visionary Officer and as chair of the Center for Education Opportunity at the America First Policy Institute.
