The 2025 nine percent Housing Tax Credit Application is now available and is due by Feb. 19, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. CT. For assistance with the application, please refer to the Online Application Guide linked below or contact the Housing Tax Credit Team. 
 
Additionally, please note that Appendix Q – Thriving Communities in the Appendices Package has been updated to clarify the targeted area for the City of Des Moines. The Application, Application Guide and Appendix Package are linked below for your convenience. 
 
The Tax Credit Team will be offering individual sessions to discuss project applications with developers in January.  Participation will also earn the developer points towards Developer in Excellence designation. Please watch for the registration notice in December.
