Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) announced that Last Gap resources are reaching full subscription. To be considered for any of the remaining resources, affordable housing development project teams must make requests for Last Gap resources by Oct. 4, 2024. After that date, OHCS will not be able to accept any further requests for Last Gap resources.
Requests submitted by October 4 will be evaluated in alignment with the framework, which, subject to availability, prioritizes investments in the following order to address funding gaps in projects:
- Undergoing conversion
- Under construction
- In pre-closing
A total of $30 million in combined Local Innovation Fast Track (LIFT) and General Housing Account Program (GHAP) resources were made available for Last Gap resources.
After Oct. 4, 2024, developers wishing to complete projects with funding gaps are advised to seek alternative non-OHCS resources or recast their projects in pre-closing to come through the Oregon Centralized Application process.
