The State of Kansas will conduct a public hearing to provide an opportunity for citizens to review and comment upon the preliminary draft of the 2025 Action Plan of the 2024–2028 Kansas Consolidated Plan. An amendment for the 2024 Annual Action Plan is also available for review and comment. The Consolidated Plan is the State’s policy framework for federal community development and housing programs.
The proposed 2025 Action Plan and Amended 2024 Annual Action Plan will be available for public comment during the period of Oct. 1 to 31, 2024 on the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) website. Limited hard copies will be available at the public hearing site and upon request.
Estimated resources available annually in the 2025 Annual Action Plan include approximately:
- $28,786,581 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG);
- $5,871,509 from the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME);
- $3,000,000 from the Housing Trust Fund;
- $1,645,105 from the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG); and
- $800,244 from the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
