The U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Energy (DOE) announced application cut-off dates for the 2024 round for the Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit Program of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022.
According to the press release, applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the deadlines, 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 10 for category 1, 3 and 4 applicants, which is facilities located in low-income communities, qualified low-income residential building facilities and qualified low-income economic benefit facilities. For facilities in category 2, facilities located on Indian Lands, the deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET Nov. 12.
