Prior to this listening session, drafts of the underwriting standards and NOFO will be sent to our Supportive Housing contact list.
Underwriting Standards and Development Policies for Supportive Housing Development
New Hampshire Housing previously published and utilized underwriting standards that apply to all project types (supportive housing, LIHTC and tax-exempt bond programs). Several areas of these underwriting standards do not apply to the supportive housing program. Therefore, to provide clarity and efficiency to our partners, underwriting standards specific to the supportive housing program are being written.
FY 2025 Supportive Housing Notice of Funding Opportunity (SH NOFO)
The SH NOFO is an announcement of a funding opportunity that provides details to qualified organizations who want to apply for financing to develop affordable housing that incorporates supportive services targeted to the needs of the intended residents. New Hampshire Housing plans to issue an SH NOFO in the coming months and anticipates approximately $1.5 million will be available through this SH NOFO.
