Governor Jeff Landry has proposed a series of recommendations to enhance the 2025 QAP, aimed at bolstering affordable housing initiatives across Louisiana. The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) Board of Directors will review and consider the Governor’s goals and priorities that place an emphasis on cost containment, increased housing opportunities for seniors and single-parent households and assistance to victims of domestic violence.
The QAP serves as a pivotal framework for allocating Federal LIHTC, crucial in incentivizing private investment in affordable housing projects.
