Florida Housing opened the Non-Competitive Application Package on April 1 for applicants requesting Florida Housing Issued MMRB and Non-Competitive Housing Credits. The application will remain open until such a time there are sufficient developments in the pipeline that can complete credit underwriting and close on their funding by the end of 2024 to utilize all the 2021 Multifamily Carryforward Allocation. Florida Housing will prioritize developments that can close by the end of this year to ensure utilization of allocation.
After the 2021 Multifamily Carryforward Allocation, developments awarded Florida Housing competitive funding will be prioritized pertaining to tax-exempt bond allocation. Therefore, any Non-Competitive application requesting Florida Housing Issued MMRB that is not able to close by the end of 2024, will be subject to closing based on allocation availability.
