The DC Department of Human Services (DHS) reopened its Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application portal on April 1. The portal will remain open until 8,500 applications are received.
DHS introduced a new landlord portal to help improve the ERAP application process. The portal will allow housing providers to upload documentation, including business licenses, updated rent ledgers and other required documents. Landlords will be notified via email with a time sensitive link as soon as residents have successfully submitted their applications.
