The Delaware Senate confirmed Governor John Carney’s (D) nomination of Cynthia Karnai to be director of the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA). Karnai will succeed Eugene Young who is stepping down in April after leading the agency from 2021. Named DSHA’s deputy director in 2022, Karnai previously served in the roles of chief operating officer and director of housing finance; she joined DSHA in 2005.
