Dominium announced that it will celebrate the groundbreaking of the Estrella Springs and Suncrest Vista at Canyon Trails affordable housing development in Goodyear, AZ. As the developer’s second project in Arizona, the company will create 657 high-quality homes, making it their largest project and Arizona’s largest development to date. Dominium also plans to incorporate features that benefit the local Goodyear Community for years to come, such as landscaping improvements to cut down on water usage, art designed by local high school students and a flex space in the clubhouse available to local elementary school students to use. Construction of Estrella Springs and Suncrest Vista at Canyon Trails is supported by the Section 42 LIHTC.
Dominium also announced the groundbreaking at Vista Ridge in Phoenix, AZ, providing 308 high-quality affordable homes to the surrounding community. The development features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in 12 three-story buildings. Vista Ridge was designed with working families in mind, with features such as a fitness center, playground, pool and dog park. The property also has eco-friendly amenities, which include a community garden and solar panels offsetting nearly 50 percent of the building’s energy consumption.
