Merchants recently secured $11 million in debt and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) financing for the construction of Cedarwood Homes in Pittsburgh. The new-build development will feature 46 age- and income-restricted units across 12 one-story buildings. Additional property features include private ground-floor entrances, in-unit washer and dryer machines, and modern, vinyl plank flooring. All 46 units will be age-restricted to individuals 62 years of age and older. Of the 46 units, 39 are income-restricted for those earning between 20-60 percent of the AMI and 7 units are offered at market rate.
