Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. (WCCI) announced that Jennifer Ricci, vice president-development, was recognized with the top honor for individual achievement at the Ohio Women’s Affordable Housing Network (OWAHN) annual celebration and awards luncheon on June 7. Ricci was named OWAHN’s “WAHNderful Woman in Affordable Housing” for 2023.

WCCI also announced that Shelby Commons has officially broken ground in the North Loop neighborhood of downtown Minneapolis. The development will create 46 new affordable and supportive housing for families and individuals, with 12 units dedicated to people experiencing housing insecurity. WCCI joined with Project for Pride in Living (PPL) to host a ceremonial groundbreaking event at the site on June 20.  Shelby Commons will offer affordable for households earning 30 to 80 percent of area median income.
