Oregon Department of Energy’s (ODOE) Solar + Storage Rebate Program provides rebates for renewable solar and solar with paired energy storage systems for eligible affordable multifamily housing developers.
The program offers up to $30,000 on a solar electric system and up to $15,000 on a paired energy storage system – all while saving money on electricity, supporting clean energy and strengthening resilience.
Rebates are issued to the ODOE-approved contractor who installs the system, and the savings are passed on to you – so you do not need to pay in advance and wait for a rebate check. The savings will be taken off the system’s total cost upfront. Contractors will also be able to help identify other potential savings, such as a federal tax credit, a utility incentive or an Energy Trust of Oregon incentive. Please note that rebates do not apply retroactively to systems already installed or undergoing installation.
