The North Dakota Department of Commerce Division of Community Services (NDDCS) and North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA) will hold a public hearing at 10 a.m. CST on January 19 to gather input on and to prioritize North Dakota’s needs for affordable and special needs housing, services for individuals who are homeless, and public facilities and economic development assistance. The hearing will be held both in-person (NDHFA Board Room 2624 Vermont Avenue Bismarck, ND 58502) and virtually (join here).
The FY2023 Annual Action Plan (AAP) will outline how the State will allocate federal Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Emergency Solutions Grant and National Housing Trust Fund dollars, and prioritizes which activities will be funded.
Communities, organizations and citizens are encouraged to comment, either in writing or during the hearing, to help the State identify and prioritize needs in order to create opportunities that are in the best interest of North Dakota citizens. The comments received will be used in the development of the AAP.
