The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will soon announce $131 million in HOME-American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding to assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and other vulnerable populations, by providing funding for housing, rental assistance, supportive services and non-congregate shelters.
HCD invites feedback via a survey, as well as three virtual focus groups to gather the following information:
- Identify unmet needs and gaps in housing or service delivery systems;
- Determine the HOME-ARP eligible activities HCD should undertake; and
- What HCD should consider in the HOME-ARP program design and implementation.
