Florida Housing has received numerous comments and questions regarding RECAP Developments in RFA 2022-301 Housing Credit Financing for Affordable Housing Developments Located in Duval County. If a development is located in a RECAP area, to be eligible for funding, the application must select and qualify for the development category of redevelopment, with or without acquisition. This means that if a development is in a RECAP area and selects the development category of new construction it will be ineligible for funding. Staff expects to issue RFA 2022-301 on Jan. 24, 2022, with an application deadline of Feb. 8, 2022.
