2021 Annual Owner Reports (AOR) are due to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) by March 1, 2022. Owners can submit AORs starting Jan. 3, 2022. Below are a few reminders to help prepare for the AOR season:
- All tenant events need to be updated in DevCo no later than the tenth of each month for the previous month. Please make sure you have updated all tenant events for the 2021 year in preparation for submitting your annual owner report next year. You also need to update all tenant events when you are notified of a file audit.
- Utility Allowance (UA) information must be updated in DevCo annually. Here are instructions on how to update your project’s UAs.
- Make sure the necessary staff responsible for completing the annual owner report have access to DevCo Compliance. Here are instructions on how to get access to the DevCo database. If you need any assistance getting access, please contact the DevCo Help Desk.
- OHFA will offer two webinars before the March 1 deadline to explain the Annual Owner Reporting process. These webinars will discuss entering tenant events, dealing with errors, XML upload, finalizing the reporting year, completing the Annual Owner Certification questionnaire and how to submit corrections to AOR findings.
