President Joseph Biden declared a Federal Major Disaster for 25 parishes in Louisiana. LIHTC properties in those parishes are granted temporary relief from certain requirements via the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) Rev. Proc 2014-49.
The 25 parishes are: Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, Pointe Coupee, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana.
At this time, the 2022-2023 QAP application deadline of October 20, remains unchanged. Please note that any changes to the QAP timeline will be discussed at our next board meeting, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
