The Universal Funding Application (UFA) for the 2022 nine percent LIHTC funding round is currently available with applications due by noon ET on August 19. The following funding sources are available to blend with LIHTCs:
- $2,500,000 – HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME);
- $1,500,000 – Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF); and
- $2,000,000 – National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) – restricted to developments with project-based rental assistance serving households at 30 percent of area median income or below.
Applicants should ensure that project applications are named with the actual property name that will be on the project sign when placed in service; do not use the location or development team as the application name. Kentucky Housing Corporation will not accept any application-related questions—other than technical issues related to the UFA system—after noon ET on August 12.
As a reminder, applicants who made one or more waiver requests prior to application submission must pay the applicable waiver fee(s) at application submission. Any pre-application waivers must be submitted by noon ET on August 12.
