The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) opened its Universal Funding Application on May 14 with applications due by August 19. Notifications of Application for Funding are due by July 19. Development team members who have not received a capacity approval letter, or whose capacity approval letters have expired, must submit the Development Team Capacity application via the Universal Funding application by June 21. KHC is also making the following gap funding available to LIHTC applicants:

  • $2,500,000 – HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME);
  • $1,500,000 – Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF); and
  • $2,000,000 – National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) – restricted to developments with project-based rental assistance serving households at 30 percent of area median income or below.
