Florida Housing Finance Corporation removed the requirement for households to pay 30 percent of their household income to be eligible for Coronavirus Relief Funds (CFR) Rental subsidy. Any already submitted CRF subsidy requests need to be resubmitted and the request amounts need to be updated to reflect this programmatic change. If the previously required 30 percent of household income payment was made from another CARES Act program or source that would result in a duplication of benefits, that portion of the household’s payment amount would not be eligible for CRF Rental subsidy. An updated version 1.12a CRF Subsidy Request Report – Recap of Tenant Income Certifications templates have been posted, with the 30 percent test removed. Please submit revised subsidy request reports to CRFReporting@FloridaHousing.org and the assigned monitor using the designated email address for CRF reporting:

On November 9, 2020, Florida Housing issued a second modification of RFA 2020-205 “SAIL Financing Of Affordable Multifamily Housing Developments To Be Used In Conjunction With Tax-Exempt Bonds And Non-Competitive Housing Credits”. The modification and both clean and redline versions of the modified RFA can be found here. This modification extends the Application Deadline from November 12, 2020 to November 18, 2020. The Review Committee Meeting will be held at 2 p.m. ET on January 13, 2021, and the recommendations will be presented for approval at the Board Meeting scheduled for January 22, 2021.
