The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) updated the following documents for its upcoming nine percent LIHTC round:
- 2020 LIHTC Guideline;
- 2020 Hybrid Financing Structure Guideline;
- 2020 Opportunity Characteristics Guideline;
- 2020 Supportive Housing Guideline;
- 2020 LIHTC Glossary of Terms and
- 2020 Multifamily Rental Housing Program Guideline.

CHFA will hold a Tax Credit Compliance Monitoring Workshop from 9 – 10:30 a.m. ET on September 30. CHFA and Spectrum will provide an overview of the allocation and compliance monitoring components of the tax credit program. Monitoring requirements to be covered include processing applications and completing Tenant Income Certifications. Spectrum will explain how to complete verification forms, review common mistakes and best practices, and provide tips on how to prepare for a Spectrum review. Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Income Averaging guidance will be covered. In addition, the latest COVID-19 related guidance from CHFA and the IRS will be reviewed.
