Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 2020 Application Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020, is cancelled.
- All 2020 Application Workshop registration fees received will be refunded. It is anticipated that checks will be issued no later than Friday, March 20, 2020.
- Due to the cancellation, the 30 points available for Participation in the Most Recent Fund Application Workshop will be awarded to every property that is applied for in 2020. Note: An administrative waiver will be completed which addresses this modification from the wording included in the 2019 and 2020 Allocation Plan.
- We will send a zip file, which includes all of the 2020 application forms, to those who submit a Pre-Registration form for a 2020 property. Note: A few persons have been sent the 2020 application form zip file. However, we have discovered a few errors on the 2020 Form 1040 included in that zip file. Starting today, the zip file sent to pre-registrants will include a corrected Form 1040. Please use the corrected Form 1040, which is dated 3-12-20 (corrected).
- We realize that some new LIHTCP participants were registered for the 2020 Application Workshop. For those new participants, or for any other registrant, if there is interest, the Fund will provide an informal training via GoToMeeting which will review the application forms. If you are interested in the above-described informal training, please reply to this email expressing such interest.
- As a reminder, if you made a hotel reservation for the Application Workshop, please be certain to contact the Holiday Inn & Suites to cancel. The number is 304-744-4641.
- For those registered or planning to register for either the Green Building Training for Residential Housing (Thursday, April 30, 2020) or the Fair Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act Training (Friday, May 1, 2020), we are still planning on having those trainings. However, if that determination changes, we will inform you as soon as possible.
- Regarding the HOME Rental Compliance Training scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2020 – that event is also cancelled. A separate email from our Asset Management staff will be provided to registrants of that training.
