The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Multifamily Finance Division posted the following 2020 Multifamily Uniform Application items:
- The 2020 Multifamily Uniform Application
- Revised 2020 Multifamily Uniform Application Certifications – The Development Owner’s Certification has been revised to include directions for providing mitigation documentation for Undesirable Site Features. Applications that do not identify any Undesirable Site Features are not required to submit the revised form and may submit the previously posted 2020 Development Owner’s Certification form. The Engineer/Architect Certification has been revised to include documentation necessary to meet the requirements of Tex. Gov’t Code Sec. 2306.6712(d)(4). All applicants must submit the revised form.
- Revised 2020 Multifamily Uniform Application Templates – The Public Notifications Template instructions have been revised to correct information regarding Tax-Exempt Bond Applications. The template was not revised. The “Greater than 40% Poverty” Template was revised so that the text mirrors statute. All Applications to which this resolution applies must submit the revised template. The “Resolution for Tax-Exempt Bond” Template was revised. Tax-Exempt Bond Applications submitted after December 31, 2019, must submit the revised template.
- Revised 2020 Multifamily Uniform Application Manual with highlighted notations regarding the revisions above, the revised pre-application due date, and guidance regarding Tab 1 census tract maps and Tab 2 “OnTheMap” documentation.
