Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) will host a technical assistance institute pilot that will provide potential permanent supportive housing (PSH) project teams with intensive training on critical PSH topics. Future capital development and rental assistance funding will only be available to project teams who have successfully completed the PSH training institute. OCHS was allocated $54.5 million for PSH funding, $20 million of which is available in capital development funding for the initial pilot program.

Project teams accepted into the institute will meet in person for five, two-day training sessions, led by supportive housing experts from the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH). The institute curriculum includes topics related to coordinated service delivery, financial forecasting, property management, Medicaid integration, trauma informed care and more. The institute will take place over a 5-month period beginning in early November 2019.

Applications for project teams will be accepted until September 6, 2019. For detailed instructions on how to apply, please review the PSH Institute Request for Applications document located here.
