The House Financial Services Committee will hold several upcoming hearings related to housing. Witnesses for the committee hearings are required to be published three days prior to event, excluding holidays and weekends. All hearings and markups will take place in 2128 Rayburn House Office Building and will be broadcast live here.
- Tuesday, April 2 at 10 am EDT – The full Committee will convene a hearing entitled, “The Fair Housing Act: Reviewing Efforts to Eliminate Discrimination and Promote Opportunity in Housing.”
- Tuesday, April 2 at 2 pm EDT – The Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development and Insurance will convene a hearing entitled, “The Affordable Housing Crisis in Rural America: Assessing the Federal Response.”
- Tuesday, April 9 at 10 am EDT – The Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions will convene a hearing entitled, “The Community Reinvestment Act: Assessing the Law’s Impact on Discrimination and Redlining.”
