The Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) will hold a public hearing in its main floor conference at 565 W. Myrtle, Boise, ID. on Thursday, Feb. 12 beginning at 9:30 am MT to discuss proposed amendments to its Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).
The proposed changes would update the tie-breaker criteria, updates substantial rehabilitation from $25,000 to $35,000 for competitive tax credits, add a ten percent preservation set-aside, change the previous preservation/rural development set-aside to rural only and reduces the amount from twenty percent to 10 percent, change the requirements for Permanent Supportive Housing points, add an income averaging election and add a $20,000 qualified contract fee, among other changes.
Prior to the hearing, interested persons may address comments in writing to the Project Finance Department, Idaho Housing and Finance Association, P.O. Box 7899, Boise, ID 83707-1899.
