The Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) issued a Request for Applications (RFA) 2019-106 – Housing Credit and State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) Financing to Develop Housing for Homeless Persons. An estimated $3,620,000 of Housing Credits and an estimated $10,300,000 of SAIL funds are available to proposed developments under this RFA.
The RFA is open to for profit and non-profit applicants proposing the development of housing for homeless individuals and families, that also include a portion of units for persons with special needs located in medium and large counties, as defined by the RFA.
Applications are due by 3 p.m., ET on Feb. 5, 2019. The Review Committee meeting is expected to be held at 10 a.m. on March 6, 2019 and will present recommendations to the FHFC Board of Directors at the March 22, 2019 scheduled Board Meeting.
