As you know, the 2018 Legislature increased the Document Recording Fee (DRF) which funds the Homeownership Assistance Program (HOAP) and General Housing Account Program (GHAP). OHCS gathered input from stakeholders through surveys and in person engagement this summer and presented draft frameworks to the Housing Stability Council in September. At today’s meeting, the Council approved new framework updates for HOAP, GHAP and GHAP Capacity resources. We look forward to working with you to implement these program changes and new investments in more detail.
