CT Publishes Notice of Public Input Period For LIHTC Program
Notice of Public Input Period
Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) is the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) allocating agency for the State of Connecticut. The federal LIHTC program requires each state agency that allocates tax credits to have a Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The QAP sets out the state’s eligibility priorities and criteria for awarding federal tax credits to housing properties.
The public is hereby notified that CHFA will hold a public input period to receive data, views and comments with respect to its LIHTC Program, its QAP, and its current priorities and policy goals from November 7, 2018 through close of business on November 21, 2018.
All interested persons are encouraged to submit written comments, which will be taken into consideration as the 2019 QAP is developed.
Information on the LIHTC program, including the 2018 QAP, is available to review by visiting www.chfa.org.
Written statements may be submitted to CHFA, 999 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 to the attention of Terry Nash. Alternatively, written comments may be emailed to terry.nash@chfa.org.
